Actim® SARS-CoV-2 + Actim® Influenza A&B

Common cold, influenza or COVID-19?

Make the difference for the right treatment in a timely manner

Cough, fever, and muscle aches are all typical and common symptoms of respiratory infections. Making the correct and timely diagnosis between common cold, influenza, and COVID-19 is challenging and yet important as the treatment and precaution measures may differ from these respiratory infections.

With the Actim® SARS-CoV-2 + Actim® Influenza A&B rapid test, distinguishing between the respiratory infections is simple, quick, and accurate. Only one respiratory sample is required to perform both tests and the results are obtained immediately.

The test is designed to make testing as simple and convenient as possible. For example, there is no need to dispense a buffer, since the test kit already contains pre-filled buffer tubes. The practical format of the tests makes it easy to distribute tubes from one package to different testing sites.

Actim SARS-CoV-2 + Actim Influenza A&B in a nutshell

How it works

The tests detect virus antigens and their variants

Actim SARS-CoV-2 + Actim Influenza A&B test is a qualitative immunochromatographic test that is based on monoclonal antibodies. The tests detect the nucleoproteins of the viruses and is thus not affected by seasonal changes and virus mutations.

Actim SARS-CoV-2

Actim SARS-CoV-2 is a virus antigen detection test that gives highly reliable results for diagnosing an acute COVID-19 infection. The test is highly specific for the novel coronavirus and it is proven to detect all widely known variants such as the Alfa, Beta, and Delta variants.

Actim Influenza A&B

Actim Influenza A&B test detects and differentiates between influenza A and B virus antigens with top-class reliability. The test detects various influenza A subtypes, including swine and avian flu, and it is not affected by yearly virus strain changes.

Both tests are highly specific and do not cross-react with each other or with other viruses causing common respiratory tract infections, such as RSV.
